Greeting, I am new to this caliber and sport of 300 meter 3P shooting. Would you be so kind to share and advise for the bullet speed load for this great sport event, perhaps per position as well?Greatly appreciated, Robert

300 m ISU need a good but not BR cartridge for stand and knee because your accuracy ( the shooter accuracy ) is less than in Prone shooting regular factory load in Norma ( Berger bullet ) is just good , in a good rifle ( cusstom built ) accuracy is in the 1.5 inch on 10 shots for Prone because you are in better condition to stay in the X ring you can handload with prep case and bullet seat in the land , with same muzzle velocity you get no more iron sight change than in regular position change and value of the clics stay the same so that help to avoid mistake during th ematch for top accuracy that possible to load 88 gr Berger but wind effcet is more important than in 105/107 gr bullet what is you rifle brand or maker ? good shooting DAN TEC

Thank you for the comment. I have been shooting Remington 700P in 223 Rem. for 300M since this late spring. I also have a Steyr CISM in 7.5 Swiss and a Tikka M595 Target in 308. Due to the fact that these two bigger calibers are more restricted in trigger pull weights and other adjustablity, therefore, I have mostly learned how to shoot 300M from the 223 Rem. Now, I am in a projrect of 6mm Norma BR by changing barrel on my other Tikka Whitetail in 22-250 and using the Target stock to rig up a 300M rifle. The club is quite active during the winter season since we shoot from a very nice heated shelter and score with electronic scoring system. In fact, this will be my very first rifle in 6BR. I am really looking forward to learn how to maximize its potentials at 300M 3P. Thank you so much, Robert

if you want to built a 6 BR 300 m rifle on Tikka action first important things is the stock one way you use a Anschutz 54 50 mm 22 LR stock and you inlett for your Tikka ( Tikka is not broas and that work in a ANS 54 wood stock ) second way you order a prone stock from Richard Micro Fit in CA Tikka receiver are good but need ( must ) to be sqaure to get a real shoulder ( factory barrel are crush in shoulder ) if you want toget top accuracy you need to crefully choice your barrel and because 6 Norma barrel life is big youy can put money in a good barrel fit by a real gunsmith and not a blacksmith good shooting DAN TEC
