Does anyone know how the 6mmBR performs out of short barrels, like 20"? This is the setup I want to use for my sporter I wish to build, and I'm hoping to be able to launch A-MAX's at 2700fps, might be optimistic. If you have any experience or are simply in the know and can help me out, great!

Hi Ardent:
Just for reference, I have a 21.5" barrel in 6 BR with 1:14 twist which puts 75-gr. bullets out in the mid-3,200's. I haven't any experience with heavier bullets or faster twists in this caliber. Hope that helps.

Sure does, thanks. I don't believe 105gr's at 2700 is overly optimistic anymore. Thanks again.
