Does anyone have any experience with a really short 6mmbr barrel? I just ordered a barrel for my Encore pistol that is 12" long with a 1-12 twist. How is this going to preform and does anyone have any reloading data to share with the 12" barrel.

Be for varmints only.

Thanks

Corey

Just saw your post. I too have a OTT 6BR 1-14 twist 16.25" Encore. Your 1-12 should shoot bullets of close to 85 grain But I like the 65 grain v-max. My OTT Barrel will shoot 3/8" groups at 100 yards, less if I do my part with 65 grain V-Max bullets. All my loading data is in my garage, if I don't forget I will look up some of the powders and loads for my Encore. If I don't forget, at 72 this happens quite often. Good Luck you will be happy with the 6BR. Where did you order the barrel from? I like MGM and bullberry, but the OTT barrels are the bomb, but you have to wait over a year for one. I think OTT is saying 6 months. He had some problems, but now is up and running again. Lou
