Also if you had stuff to trade/sell in the old board, please just post a new listing in the NEW BOARD. That way you can add a picture, and potential buyers can contact you much more easily.

I know this is sort of like a Jr. High School dance--Everyone waiting to see who'll be the first to hit the dance floor.

The NEW FORUM really does a whole bunch of things we can't do with the original boards--including private messaging, easy search by member name, direct emailing, one-click picture posting. This is all the stuff you've been asking for! The NEW FORUM also gives us much better tracking data which helps us figure out what topics you're most interested in.

I'm transferring the important threads to the new boards as fast as I can. But understand, there is no import/export option. I have to cut and paste threads individually, one by one, and then edit each reply. The thread on 115gr Tubb bullets alone runs about 10,000 words.

When you go to the new board you may be put off because most of the threads say "started by Moderator". In fact, 99% of these threads are the collected posts from other members. It just says "Moderator" because I pasted the content in. Click on one thread and you will see how it works.

I'm working nights, weekends, and I put in 10 hours on Thanksgiving to help get the posts moved. Rest assured I'll transfer the "good stuff" to the new board.

But the NEW FORUM will pick up steam if everybody just pitches in. You'll need to re-register one time, then confirm your email. Very straightforward. Give it a try.

So far the response has been very positive, and it will only get better with your help.
