I'am sure this was been discussed at length before. But never owning or shooting a Dasher or any of the other variants or improved cartridges. What is the case capacity difference from a standard Lapua 6BR and the Dasher. I'm trying to decide what to chamber my 8 twist Pac- Nor Bat action rifle for.

Thank You,
Michael

easy
6 Norma PPG reamer

better at 1K
6 BRX ( but I have no trust in Clymer reamer ), I own a 6 Norma +0.05 made by regrinding a tight base JGS Reamer ( original Norma 0.470 base ) regrind by Dave MANSON 5 very nice work ) to get a 0.05 body

near perfect but not without more work
6 Dasher

all can be made with stock 0.271 neck ( no turn ) or with neck cleaning 0.269 , no really need of thin neck wall as 0.268/266 for 6 BR

case capacity is usefull only if you try to reach top velocity AT SAFE pressure some year ago Dr Johnson ( RIP )from NECO was one of th efirst to shoot 6 Norma at 1K with very hot load but now with BRX and dasher you can do the same and keep you primer pocket tight

good shooting

The Dasher case holds four grains more powder than the BR case. Makes competitive 1000 yard shooting easy without wringing the guts out of your cases. My 14 twist 24" Hart will send 55 Nosler Bal. Tips @ 4100+ and all my 8 twist barrels will move the 105-107 VLD's @ 3000+ without loosening primer pockets. The cases are all Lapua.
