Well guys i was shooting my 65 pound 300 Ackley heavy gun at a 600 yard match Sunday in Sacramento and made it into the heavy gun shoot-off.I was trounced upon by Ken Schroeder shooting a you guessed it 6BR.You either shoot a 6BR or you get beat by one.

The Mighty Little 6BR has humbled many of us. I know I love the 6BR for accuracy. I guess you will have to start looking into building that 6BR you always dreamed about. Thanks.

Lynn,

You aren't the first. Here's a quote from our 600-yard Competition Page:

"At the NBRSA Sacramento 600 match on 8/22/04 for example, 76-year-old Ken Schroeder, shooting a 6BR, won Light Gun with a 3.275" aggregate. The winning Heavy Gun Agg was nearly twice as big--a 6.220" shot with a 6.5-284. Schroeder's 6BR also posted the smallest group in match, a 2.049". That was HALF the size of the best Heavy Gun group (a 4.041" by another 6.5-284). These little 6BR cartridges can shoot!"

BTW, if you know how to get in touch with Ken, please send an email to Mailbox@6mmBR.com. We've been hoping to do a story on Ken and that wicked rifle of his for quite some time.

I was at that shoot and there were several shooters using the 6 br quite well.My light gun is a 6BR and i think the advantage Ken has is he shoots both classes with the same 6BR.He is a soft spoken guy who loves to shoot.Iwill try and get him on the board but don't know if he does computers.
