I am using a cartridge called the 6.5 TKS for metallic silhouette. I would like to try a 6mm and thought that it would be cost effective to make a 6mm TKS and just use my existing JLC resize die with the appropriate bushing and ream the sleeve on a 6mm Br Comp Seater.

How close is the TKS to a Dasher or a Shehane assuming the proper neck specifications for a 6mm?

making several wildcat is perhaps fun but gain will be very low if you compare same family reamer as 6 Shedanne and the future 6 TKS

to use something "brand enew " and inovative the MacPherson spherical shoulder is perhaps the way to go , they claim that a real IMP design

another important point is reloading avaibility , major company when they put a new caliber on the market ( as WSM , or RUSM or WSSM ) make deal with major dies maker company to allow dies in low cost group dies ( A from RCBS .. ) I really think that internet and specialized forum can do the job to make one or two wilcat caliber really popular as 6 BRX ( no really need od special die but a standardized full sizer small bas ) can help ) and the 6 Dasher to go in full IMP way

after wilcat vriations as neck diameter and lead lenght can be record as specail use

best regards
