I wonder why Remington never offered the 22 or 6BR in the Varmint Special line,and now that they will be offering a rifle that is less expensive than the 40-X,What are they waiting for?Maybe it will take seeing a board like this to open their eyes.Of course now that I progressed past most factory rifles and mostly have customs built,they will go and make a factory gun in 22/6BR. I think the real question is why don't they make it a standard cartraige. If they did that the guns will follow.... www.varmintsforfun.com

It would probably kill the sales of other calibers such as 223 and 22-250.
