It is great to finally have a board dedicated to the 6BR ...I have had one since their inception in the 70's..decided that I didn't want anything that said "Russian" on the case head stamp and have had em ever since...I want to share some of my early struggles with the old "basic" .308 and let the new BR shooters know how lucky we are today to have the modern Lapua brass and some of these new powders...Roger

Well I just talked to Mike Bryant and my new 8" twist bbl. is "in the mail"...should arrive thu-fri and I will be doing load development/break in the moment it gets here..I will post results asap,,,Roger

Had my 40x rebarreled to 6BR in 1992.Little did I know the Remington cases OL was 1.560.My chamber was 1.520.Neck is .261. Get great results on chucks out to 500 yrds.I use 34 g Varget and 70 g Nosler BT. 3350fps from 22 in barrel
